Today’s Teacher Tip comes from Mrs. Gilliland…
“Anyone that is thinking about starting a new career, don’t think that everything will come to you. You need to work hard for everything you get and you’re never done learning.”
Mrs. Katie Gilliland has been an educator at La’ James International College in Fort Dodge for 6 years and is currently the Term 3 Clinic Instructor. Mrs. Gilliland is also an LJIC graduate!! She graduated from the Cosmetology program 8 years ago.
Mrs. Gilliland says she enjoys the interaction with both students & clients.
“I get the satisfaction of knowing that I can make a difference in not only the student’s lives, but the client’s as well.”
