About Our Fort Dodge Beauty School

The Fort Dodge campus is home to our Home Office. It is the first location our owner, Mrs. Becher, purchased over 50 years ago and is the heart of La’ James International College.

Our Fort Dodge beauty school can be the perfect place to start your beauty education. We believe that hands-on education is key to your success, and that is why we designed our student salon/spa clinics to emulate a true professional salon environment.

Our clinics have individual treatment rooms and stations, hydrotherapy tubs, and a sauna. Along with a beautiful retail center with chandelier lighting and multiple product lines available for purchase, our Fort Dodge beauty school feels like a true salon/spa environment.

The campus is located in the middle of Fort Dodge and is perfect for out-of-state students or students looking for a more traditional college experience. Our Fort Dodge campus is our only campus with apartments next door, Xanadu Courtyard Apartments. For more information about these apartments, contact us!

Cosmetology

Pursue your love for beauty with our traditional 5-day-a-week cosmetology program. For students who prefer a more traditional classroom environment, you can learn hair cutting, coloring, styling, facials, nails, and more!

La’ James International College reserves the right to adjust salon and spa business hours. Walk-ins are welcome but to ensure availability please schedule an appointment through Guest Services. If you are planning a large party or group, please schedule with Guest Services at least two weeks before the event.
