DIY : Relief while on the Beach!
It’s Summertime and we hope you are enjoying your days on the lake, soaking up all those warm rays [with your sunscreen of course!]. Along with some swimming & running through the hot sand! And today’s TuesTorial from La’ James International College in Fremont, NE is perfect to use during these type of summer days! Give your feet a little relief while on the beach using the sand only! Get the details here…
Get started by standing upright parallel to the shore & looking straight ahead. Relax your muscles… slowly inhale through your nose and exhale through the mouth. Repeat gently 3 times. Walk slowly, mindfully and be aware of your feet touching the sand. Aww….. RELAX!
Step 1: Slowing walk & notice each moment your foot makes as you step & hit the sand… Lifting your left foot up & forward, then slowly landing the heel into the sand. Gradually let the arch hit the sand and next the ball of your foot. Do the same for your right food. Count to 30, each step is 1 count.
Step 2: Walk on the balls of your feet for 30 steps.
Step 3: Walk on the heels of your feet for 30 steps.
Step 4: Tilt your feet and walk on the outer sides for 30 steps.
Step 5: Next, walk allowing only the heels & balls of your feet to touch the sand. To do this you will need to lift the arches of your feet by curling your toes downward.
WOW… how relaxing was that?!?! Thank you LJIC Fremont for the great tips & for participating in this week’s #TuesTorial!
