Meet Laura Allison, Cosmetology graduate from La’ James International College in East Moline! Laura talks about her career after LJIC…

“Thanks to my education at La’ James International College, I am confident in my skills & abilities. I started at a salon just a few days after I graduated! I’ve even had opportunities to teach other stylists in the salon tips, tricks & also talk about new products I learned to love while I attended LJIC! So happy I chose to begin my journey with La’ James International College, I don’t feel like I would have received the same education going anywhere else.”

We asked Laura, “What advice would you give to current students?”

“What I would tell a student who is getting ready to graduate is to really look at all the salons in your area. Get a feel for the environment at the salon, the current stylists there and really figure out which salon would be the best fit for you. Definitely make sure you give it your all! And NEVER stop learning!!”
