Aroma Therapy Oils during the Cold Season

It’s that time of year… the air is beginning to turn bitter cold and very dry. One way to help soothe sinuses & congestion is with Aroma Therapy oils.

Tea Tree Oil – great antibacterial & antiviral agent. It helps to open the sinuses and fight congestions.

Peppermint Oils – Antiseptic & antiviral. This clears nasal passages & relieves sore throats and can be used in inhalers.

Lemon Oil – Antibacterial, antifungal and great antiseptic. This helps to boost your immune system.

Eucalyptus Oil – Antifungal and antibacterial. This helps to open nasal passages

Rosemary Oil – Antiseptic and helps to relieve congestions. This is a great one to use in combination with lemon and eucalyptus oil. If you do not have lemon. You can substitute with another citrus oil like Tangerine or Grapefruit. Use it in a diffuser, steam inhaler or use with a career oil.

Great Carrier oils are Almond, Jojoba, Coconut, Olive or Avocado oil. ***Always check the Carrier Oil if you have any nut allergies.

Keep the oils closed tightly and away from any sun exposure. Never ingest or put undiluted oils on the skin. It is best to do a skin patch test prior to usage. Those who are pregnant, please consult with a medical physician. And lastly, Aroma Therapy is not meant to replace a diagnosis or and medical treatments from a medical physician.
