DIY: Present Design

We have seen some great nail art designs from the students at La’ James International College. Here is one that is perfect for the holiday seasons, quick & most importantly… CUTE! Today’s TuesTorial is by Jessica Griffin, a Nail Technology student at La’ James International College in Fremont.

What you will need:

• Base Coat
• Favorite color of polish that will be your wrapping paper
• Favorite color of polish that will be your ribbon & bow
• Top Coat
• Striping Brush

Step 1: Apply a base coat followed by 2 coats of polish in the color of your choice. This will be your wrapping paper.

Step 2: Using a striping brush, paint one vertical line (slightly off centered) with the second color of your choice. Next, paint a horizontal line. We are now creating the ribbon.

Step 3: Use your striping brush to paint a half circle in the corner of the intersected lines. Then repeat on the other side. This is the start of your bow.

Step 4: Next, paint small “tails at the bottom of each circle to finish off your bow design. Once dry, finish with a top coat.
