DIY: RELAXING FACIAL!

    Grab your bestie and treat one another to a relaxing DIY Facial! Today’s Tues-torial comes from Tekoah Ferro (Esthetics Student at La’ James International College – Davenport).

    Step 1: Cleanse the face twice. The first time removes make-up and the second cleanse gets rid of excess dirt and bacteria that remains on the skin.

    Step 2: Remove cleanser with a warm clean washcloth.

    Step 3: Apply astringent to normalize the skin.

    Step 4: Exfoliate the skin using a facial exfoliator. Tekoah used Repechage’s Honey Almond scrub mixed with plain yogurt.

    Step 5: Let the exfoliant sit, then remove with a warm clean washcloth.

    Step 6: Using a light cream, massage the face to stimulate blood flow and collagen.

    Step 7: Next apply your favorite mud mask. The mud mask helps to draw out any impurities.

    Step 8: Relax your eyes by applying eye pads or better yet, fresh cucumber slices!

    Step 9: Allow the mud mask to dry. After 5 – 10 minutes rinse with a warm clean washcloth.

    Step 10: Lightly massage the skin while applying your favorite moisturizer. Choose a moisturizer that is suitable for your skin type.

    Finish up feeling relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated! Awe… feels fabulous!
