DIY : SANTA INSPIRED NAILS

The Holidays are near so why not show off your holiday cheer with these cute Santa inspired nails! Today’s #LJIC TuesTorial comes from Staci Cross (Cosmetology Student at La’ James International College in Des Moines).

Step 1: Apply 2 coats of your favorite red polish and allow the nail to dry completely. We chose CND Vinylux Scarlet Letter. 

Step 2: Next, use a crisp white polish to make a straight line down the middle of the nail. Allow the nail to dry completely before continuing on. Staci used CND Vinylux Creme Puff for this step.

Step 3: Take a black polish and make a horizontal line. You do not want this to be perfectly centered. This is going to be the belt so place slightly below the center of the nail. Then allow the nail to dry before continuing on. The polish used here was CND Vinylux Black Pool. 

Step 4: Use a dotter to create Santa’s buttons. Staci continued to use her CND Vinylux Back Pool for this.

Step 5: Next grab your favorite gold shimmer polish. Once again use your dotter to create the belt buckle. Finish by applying a top coat to protect your design!
