DIY : SIMPLE UPDO
Looking for a beautiful updo that is easy enough to “Do It Yourself”. Check out today’s LJIC TuesTorial by Kirstie Stallman,Cosmetology student at La’ James International College in Des Moines.
Step 1: Tease the crown to add volume.
Step 2: Create 2 loose ponytails near the base of the head.
Step 3: Above the hair tie, create an opening. Lift the ponytail up, grab it with 2 fingers and pull through the opening.
Step 4: Repeat step 2 on the other side.
Step 5: Continue the same “pull through” technique down both ponytails.
Step 6: Bring one ponytail across the back of the head & up. Pin to secure in place.
Step 7: Bring the other ponytail across the other side and pin to secure.
Step 8: Add a decorative touch such as flowers. This will helps help to hide any pins.
The final look….
Beautiful job Kirstie! Thank you for sharing these great tips & for participating in today’s TuesTorial.
