Hoover achieves Big Leader in Me Designation!
Congratulations Hoover Middle School on your designation as a Lighthouse School!! This is an honor awarded by Franklin Covey for schools that demonstrate a superior level in total school implementation of Leader in Me.
Leader in Me is a program aimed to connect students to vocational interests and to help them develop important soft skills such as being on time, interpersonal relations, effective communication and a wide range of other skills that may not be specifically taught in high school or college classes.
La’ James International College Cedar Falls is very proud to have been a part of the program at Hoover during the 2015-2016 school year. Each week, Mrs. Tawnie Lavallee (LJIC Spa Director),LJIC students & staff visited Hoover Middle school for their Cosmo Club. It was a GREAT experience for the kids & LJIC students enjoyed it just as much!
